Iret (pronounced “ir-rett”) is an Ancient Egyptian word which roughly translates as “That which is made” — and that’s exactly what our venture is all about: making things which we hope will appeal to people who, like us, are passionate about Egypt.
We want to fill what we see as a gap in the market, by producing good-quality, affordable items that cannot be obtained elsewhere.
Some are accurate replicas of Ancient Egyptian artefacts . . .
Others are not replicas but are inspired by Ancient Egyptian styles, colours and themes . . .
And yet others go off at a complete tangent, reflecting our own wider interests and those of our customers.
